Matariki week

Hey guys check out my new writting.

On Monday something really excited happened, It was Matariki week. The bell rang I was super excited.First we went to room ten to make fried bread.

It was awesome. I enjoyed it a lot and when the fried bread was finished everyone got a chance to eat four with butter. It was delicious. It was over and we came back to our class. It was time to make some Matariki stars. We made lots of them. We had a great day. Days past by and came the last day Friday. We came early to our school. The bell rang. It was time to go to class. It was time to make kites. It took a long time to make kites. But it was very easy. Me and Samuel got a chance to paint the class kite. We did paint strips and we drew a warrior face at the top. At last we got a chance to fly the kites. We had lots of fun.

I hope I will get another chance to fly this kite and make one of the kites that we made on Friday.

Samoan language week

Hey guys check out my new writing. Its about Samoan language week

     One Monday at school. I realised it was Samoan language week. The assembly was full of Samoan materials. The assembly had a new name called taste of Samoa. There were jewellery, Coconut and many other thing. Soon the bell rang so I went to my class.
     After a hour Mrs barton told that we are going to taste of Samoa.  First we got into groups so it was easy. First we went to the Samoan jewellery table. They were all made out of coconut. Next we went to scrap coconut. They gave us a sample to eat. It was delicious. The next was cups and mugs. They were all made out of coconut. That's why the coconut is important to Samoa. Next we went to the Koko table. Koko is the seeds that we use to make chocolate. But it is also enjoyed as a drink in Samoa. They gave us a sample to drink it was also delicious. What a day I had.
      I hope I will have another day like this. This was the greatest day in my life. I hope I will have another cup of koko to drink.

Harakeke

           One day when I came to school Mrs Barton told that New Market school is coming to get some flex. Just after school started they came to our school. We introduced our selves  to them and off we went to cut harakeke.
           The garden was full of harakeke plants. Mrs Brayan told us how to cut a harakeke plant So we did it the same way she told us to do. Everyone got a chance to cut the flex plant. We had lots of fun of fun and we had collected 226 leaves of the flex plant. And then it was over it was morning tea time. We had our morning tea inside our class with the New market children. And after we had finished I found a friend called JJ. I showed him the whole school. We played with him we had lots of fun with him after sometime morning tea was over. The time for the New Market children to go back to there school.
         We Had lots of fun. I hope we will get another chance to play together. What a day I had




     

Book week

            One Monday something exciting happened, It was book week. We came to school early and went to the library to look what activities were there. There were two activities. One was to find out how many olafs were there and the other to find out who the book characters were. Days past by and came the last day Friday. That was the book character day we should wear a character in a book.
          We were very excited. Everyone was wearing as a character. I wore as batman because he was my favourite super hero. Our class was wonderful we had lots and lots of characters for book week. Mrs barton was thing one from cat in the hat. We had face painting in our class so some painted there faces. And then came time for photos. One class by class went to take photos. At last it was our turn to take our photo. We took our photo and went to the assembly. Some children got awards for there reading even I got one. I had a great day.
             I hope I will have another day like this to wear as characters. What a day I had. It was the best day in my life.

Eotc writting

 In may road school children getting ready to go piha. Buses rumbles to our school to go piha. Children rushing to the buses. At last the buses left may road school behind.

    It took one hour to arrive to piha and off we went to the bushes. We sprayed a special cleaning spray  which will prevent trees to die. We went inside the bushes finding  beautiful trees. It was very wet and shouting caution, caution wet road and when our kauri team went forward we found a big waterfall. Everybody were looking at the waterfall so we had a rest there. After the rest we continued our journey. Suddenly something went horribly wrong. Miss Haydon and seven children were missing. Miss mellick was horrified so she went all the way to the to the waterfall. As we continued our way children were I  shouting  Miss Haydon , Miss Haydon. After our journey we had our lunch. Then Miss Mellick came back telling she didn't find Miss Haydon. Miss Mellick decided to call Mrs Haydon. Miss Mellick told the directions. After some time Miss Haydon made it. After lunch we went to the bus. We went back to school.

     When going back the bus was calm and quiet. Everybody was sleeping. At last we came to May road school. I had a great day. I hope I will go another trip like this.

Flying rc helicopters

FLYING RC HELICOPTERS

      Flying rc helicopters is a very hard job. One day when it was my 6th birthday I got a rc helicopter. As it was my birthday present I opened it and i found a rc helicopter which I was looking for many days. The next day I opened the box. It was red in colour. I took the remote and the helicopter out and I inserted the batteries. I charged the helicopter as it had told the battery would take several minutes to charge I took the user manual and I read some pages.

      After some time the battery has been charged. I took my remote and I went outside the house. I kept my helicopter on the ground and i switched it on. I gave the helicopter some throttle It suddenly came up into the air. It was very cool. I was very happy. I was flying it very smoothly suddenly something went terribly wrong my helicopter crashed into a bush. I took helicopter out of the bush. And i continued flying it. It was working good. But some time latter the battery was dead. So I went home. I hope I will get a bigger one than this when it is my 7th birthday.
