Cook island language week

On Monday it was cook island language week. I was so excited to start the day. I learned how to say good morning in Rarotongan. I hope I will have another day like this. What a day I had. We had lots of fun.

How the earth was made

How the earth was made

The earth is 4.57 billion years old. Did you know that the earth was made out of meteoroids? When a large meteoroid was circling around our solar system it attracted other meteoroids which was coming very fast. That made the large meteoroid hotter and hotter leaving lava. It is now called the inner core. Thousands of rock crashed into the lava and it was  making it bigger and bigger. But there was something to stop the lava from the out. It was water. There was water in the big meteoroids. It made the lava cold and stopped the lava flowing and also it brought oceans and lakes. And there was another thing they brought to earth. It was Amino Acid ( Amino acid is something that every living being has ). This amino acid first made the trees and in the water corals and then came the first microscopic animal. It was cyanobacteria. The were the first animals that came to earth. They lived everywhere. In trees, rocks and corals. They brought us the best gift. They produced oxygen. Did you know that there are corals with cyanobacteria which are more than 3.5 billion years old. Then life began with dinosaurs.

Basketball session 1

Yesterday we had our basketball session two. We came to the hall. First we did some warm ups so we will be fit to play basketball. When we finished it we started. I learned how to bounce the ball without looking at it at the end. We had lots of fun playing basketball.
